On September 29th, 2023, Duane "Keffe D" Davis was arrested for the murder of Tupac Shakur which occurred on September 14, 1996. He was shot multiple times in Las Vegas when leaving a boxing match. In 2009, Keffe D admitted to his involvement in the murder to law enforcement, however, he was under a proffer with the prosecution, which keeps law enforcement from using someone's statements against them. Keffe D then proceeded to boast publicly about what he had done which led him to getting arrested, after Vegas police did a deeper investigation.
