In 2013, Andrew Lobban aged 31, shot and killed three of his coworkers outside of a bar in downtown Ocala because they had previously "punked" him. All three victims were found on the ground outside of the bar, two of the men were pronounced dead at the scene while the final victim died later at the hospital. The victims were identified as Jerry Bynes (20 yoa), Josue Santiago (25 yoa), and Benjamin Howard (23 yoa). All four men worked together as bouncers at a local club. Lobban admitted the the shooting explaining that the four coworkers had previous gone shooting together at a local range. He stated that one of the men intentionally rigged his gun so that it wouldn't fire and filmed it. Later on the men were teasing Lobban about it. Lobban planned the killings stating that he was sorry for what he was about to do. He shot all three friends at point blank range and fled the area, dropping the gun in a garbage can nearby.
