A very well-known case is that of missing JonBenet Ramsey. She was found deceased in her basement with cords wrapped around her wrist and neck and was in one of her pageant gowns. Her parents also reportedly found a ransom note asking for $118,000. Her parents were the number one suspects in the case, but DNA was found in JonBenet's underwear in 2003 that determined the crime was committed by two unknown individuals. There have been no updates since and no further suspects have been named.
