Megan Huntsman, who lives in Salt Lake City, was charged and plead guilty to killing six of her newborn babies and storing them in her garage. Megan had three surviving children but admitted that she was too hooked on methamphetamine to take care of more, so she killed the rest. Her husband found all six bodies in the garage in 2014. She gave birth to the babies between the years of 1996 to 2006 and strangled or suffocated each baby immediately after birth. She wrapped them in cloth, and then plastic, and then placed them into a box. Megan has been sentenced to up to life in prison. This is another mother that could have taken her newborn babies to an adoption agency or placed them in a safe box at the fire station. Instead, the person these babies were supposed to trust the most, smothered them as soon as they were born.
