As of July 2024, there are 2,164 men on death row in the United States. While I was able to break down each death row case for women, it would take me months to do this for the men. Below is the number of men on death row per state. There seems to be a gender bias in court when it comes to sentencing both men and women to the death penalty. It is quite obvious by comparing these numbers to the number of women on death row, that women are less frequently sentenced to death than men.
