In 1957 the body of a young boy was found beaten and placed into a cardboard box in Philadelphia. Law enforcement believe the boy was between the ages of 4 and 6 at the time of his death. Law enforcement later identified the body as 4-year-old Joseph Zarelli. He was found nude; wrapped in a flannel blanket, malnourished, and beaten and then stuffed into a cardboard box before being discarded. A man's hat was found near the crime scene and a local store owner recognized it, however, the man was never seen again in that location. This case still remains unsolved today.
