In 2011, Seath Jackson aged 15, was lured to a home in Summerfield by his ex-girlfriend Amber Wright. There were five individuals total at the home of Charlie Ely's home. The individuals wanted to fight Jackson, however, Michael Bargo shot Seath with a .22 caliber revolver. He was injured but managed to get out of the home, but Soto tackled him and began beating him in the yard, Bargo shot Jackson again. The men at the home carried Seath inside and placed him in the bathtub. Bargo continued to beat Jackson and shoot at him, finally killing him with a shot to the face. The wrapped Jackson in a sleeping bag and threw him into a burning fire pit in the yard. All five participants were sentenced to life in prison. Charlie Ely, who was renting the home, was released early on an appeal as she did not have anything to do with hurting Seath.
