Three men, Robert Hinson, James Barker, and Robert Gierse were found murdered inside this home at 1318 N Lasalle Street in Chicago in 1971. All of the men were found bound with their throats cut. Two of them were almost decapitated. Hinson and Geirse were found in separate bedrooms and Barker was found in the hallway between the rooms. There was no evidence of forced entry and the police only found one bloody boot print in the home. The men frequented local bars and were known to get into many fights, leaving numerous options for suspects. The police believe that due to the brutality, there must have been more than one suspect involved. Unfortunately, it has been fifty years since the crime and the DNA evidence was lost and cannot be tested.
